Help & FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most. If yours is not here, write to us.

For everyone

What is Diemeco?

Diemeco connects people who need industrial parts made (clients) with workshops that can make them. A client posts a requirement. Workshops that take that kind of job see it, unlock it, and send a quotation or message. You agree the work and payment directly between you.

How do I sign in?

With your mobile number. We send a 6-digit code by SMS and you type it in. There is no password. One phone number can hold both a client profile and a workshop profile, and you switch between them from your Profile page.

I did not get my code. What can I do?

Check the number, wait a minute, then press Resend (you can resend up to three times). Make sure your phone has network. If you have tried several times, wait 15 minutes and start again. If it still fails, write to us and tell us your number.

Is my phone number shown to other people?

No. Clients and workshops never see each other's phone number or email unless the client chooses to share their number inside a chat. Phone numbers, emails and links cannot be typed into messages.

Which languages does Diemeco support?

English and Hindi today, and more are coming. Change the language from the menu at the top of any page. Your choice is remembered.

How do I report a problem or a bad user?

Use the Report link next to a requirement, message or profile. For a general problem, use Report an Issue on your Profile page. For a disagreement about a job that is already underway, use Report a problem on that job: our team reads both sides and decides. See the Dispute policy.

How do I delete my account?

Profile, then Delete Account. You confirm by typing a phrase. Open requirements are removed (workshops that paid to unlock them are refunded), and your personal details are erased. Completed jobs and their reviews stay, without your name. A workshop's unused credits are forfeited.

For clients

Does it cost anything to post a requirement?

No. Posting, receiving quotations and messaging are free for clients, always.

How do I post a requirement?

Choose Post New Requirement. Tell us the kind of job (die making, mould making, CNC machining, casting, fabrication or other), what the product should be made of (up to 3 materials), how many you need, and if you know it, the size and how precise it must be. You can attach up to 4 drawings or pictures. Anything you do not know can be left as "not sure".

What if I do not know the quantity, size or precision?

That is fine. Tick "not sure" or leave it empty. Workshops can ask you in a message. The more you can tell us, the better the matches.

What is the difference between Public and Confidential?

A Public requirement is shown to matching workshops, who can unlock it to see the files and chat with you. A Confidential requirement hides the exact size, description and files. A workshop must ask for access, and you approve or decline each request. You see at most 5 requests at a time, and a request lapses after 72 hours.

Who can see my drawings?

Only workshops that unlocked your requirement, or that you approved for a confidential one. They can view PDFs and images on the site with their ID watermarked on every page. They can download a file only if you allow it. CAD files cannot be previewed, so a workshop can open one only if you allow download.

How does Diemeco choose which workshops see my requirement?

By fixed rules, never by AI. A workshop sees your requirement if it takes your kind of job. It is then ranked by its experience with that kind of job, whether it makes products in your material, whether your quantity suits its minimum order, its location (same city, then same state), and whether it is verified.

What if no workshop matches my requirement?

After 24 hours with no match we tell you, and our team looks for suitable workshops. You can also edit the requirement, for example by adding another material, to widen the matches.

How do quotations work?

Workshops that unlocked your requirement can send a price, delivery time, how long the price stays valid, and notes. The Quotations page shows them side by side. The lowest price is not always the best fit, so check capability and delivery too. You accept or decline each one.

What do Assigned and Fulfilled mean?

Mark a requirement as Assigned when you have chosen a workshop. It then disappears for new workshops. Mark it Fulfilled when the work is done and pick who did it. You can undo an assignment at any time and a completion for 24 hours. Then you can review the workshop.

Can I delete a requirement?

Yes, unless it is already completed or has a review. It goes to your Recycle Bin for 7 days, and you can restore it. Any workshop that paid a credit to unlock it is refunded automatically.

For workshops

How do I set up my workshop profile?

Tick every kind of job you take. For each one, choose the materials of the products your customers buy from you, and your minimum order if you have one. Add your state and city, and if you like your machines, factory materials, GST, PAN, an About text and a logo. A fuller profile means better matches and more trust.

What is a credit, and what does it do?

One credit unlocks one public requirement: you can view its files and a chat with the client opens. For a confidential requirement, asking for access is free, and one credit is charged only if the client approves. New workshops start with 2 free trial credits.

When do I get my credit back?

Automatically, if the client does not message you within 5 days of your unlock, or if the client deletes the requirement or we remove it. You are never charged for a confidential request that is declined or lapses.

What does the match percentage mean?

It shows how well a requirement fits you: your experience with that kind of job, your materials, the size against your machines, the quantity against your minimum order, the location and your verification. Open a requirement to see the reason for each part. Where we do not have enough information, the score says so.

What are Near Matches?

Jobs that suit you but ask for fewer pieces than your minimum order. They are kept in a separate tab so you never spend a credit on an order you cannot take.

How do I send a quotation?

Unlock the requirement, then fill in the price, delivery days, how long the price is valid and any technical notes. You can change your quotation until the client decides.

Why can I not download a client's file?

Files are view-only unless the client allows download. Use Ask client to allow download, which sends the client a message. Every file you view is watermarked with your ID.

How do I get the GST Verified badge?

Add your GST number to your profile, then open Verify GST and enter the legal name and trade name exactly as on your certificate. A person on our team compares them with the government GST portal. The check is manual for now.

How do plans, payment and invoices work?

Plans are paid through Razorpay. Prices include 18% GST. Confirm your email first, because your invoice is sent there. Renewing while a plan is still valid extends it. Read the Refund Policy for what can be refunded.

Why can I not put my phone number in a message?

To keep both sides safe, phone numbers, emails, links and social handles cannot be typed into messages. If the client chooses to share their number, it appears in the chat.
